Our Programs
Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment
The goal of treatment when addressing alcoholism is abstinence. Success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. We at the Sobon Serenity Rehabilitation Centre offer alcoholism programs that take the approach that when a client abuses alcohol, they must have help to release the need, or they return to using alcohol again when facing challenging life situations.
Alcoholism is a complex disease that requires a multifaceted approach to treatment. It is the leading substance use disorder. Our alcoholism programs are designed to address the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects of addiction. We provide our clients with a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where they can receive help and begin their journey toward recovery.
Our expert counselors combine the perfect balance of support and experience to help clients release their dependency on alcohol.
24/7 Medical Detox Program
Recovery begins by taking the first steps into a treatment program, and often that requires a detox program like the one offered here at the Sobon Serenity Rehabilitaion Centre.
Detox is a program where someone who has struggled with addiction undergoes a process to wean them from whatever substances they are addicted to. Detox should be done under medical supervision and its goal is to rid the body of the toxins, such as alcohol and addictive substances, so you can begin recovery properly. Withdrawal from an addictive substance can be dangerous without proper medical care.
Detox is important because it allows your body to adjust to a lack of alcohol or drugs in your system. To stop using drugs or alcohol and begin recovery, you need to purge the drug from your system and deal with the physical symptoms resulting from that absence. So, we will help you to get these toxins out of your system.
Individual Mental & Trauma Therapy
During individual therapy, a client meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often helps to uncover the root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the client in their social, family, and work/school life.
Successful treatment programs tend to include several forms of therapy. Individual therapy gives participants one-on-one time with skilled and licensed therapists where they can address their personal influences and issues. Individual therapy allows for a more intensive focus on individuals that they likely won’t get in other forms of therapy
In individual therapy, you meet with a licensed therapist to discuss the factors that contribute to your struggle with addiction. For example, some people discuss their relationships with family or friends that led to their addiction. In other cases, they may discuss traumatic events or other possible influences that, once dealt with, may make it easier to overcome addiction

Inpatient Substance Abuse Program
Our Residential Treatment Programs (inpatient treatment), including Inpatient Substance Abuse Programs, offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment.
This allows clients to focus solely on recovery, separate and apart from their work, home and social lives. Our residential stay focuses on the addiction to drugs and alcohol along with a solution for families that must recover together.
When we talk about substance abuse, we are talking about the excessive use of a drug in a way that is harmful to you. Harmful in the sense that you are physically affected with ill effects on your health and well-being. You develop a dependence on the drug both physically and psychologically. Substance abuse is also detrimental because it harms your relationship with others and makes it difficult for you to participate positively in society.
Substance Abuse Rehab Program
Substance Abuse Rehab is a treatment structure that focuses on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, such as alcohol and drugs, including illegal and prescription drugs.
The substance abuse rehab or rehabilitation program often allows clients to engage in both individual as well as group therapy, offering both the physical and psychological aspects associated with this form of abuse. Our experienced team of experts provides professional guidance and encouragement during the client’s time of need.
Making the decision to seek rehabilitation for a substance use disorder is one of the biggest decisions for a person struggling with addiction will make. Fortunately, with the right programs and support system, it becomes the best decision of their life.
Rehab is care that can help you get back, keep, or improve abilities that you need for daily living.
Group Therapy Program
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that occurs in a group and not one-on-one. There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more.
Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In group therapy, up to ten people seeking treatment for addiction meet with a group leader to discuss their struggles with addiction and provide support for each other throughout treatment.
One of the biggest contributing factors to people’s struggle with addiction is that they often feel isolated. It is not uncommon to feel that you are the only one experiencing these kinds of struggles, especially if you don’t know anyone else that is. That isolation can feed into other factors that make it difficult to overcome addiction or to seek help.
Group therapy breaks the illusion that you are alone in your struggles with addiction. You’ll get to see what other people are dealing with and how they are working to overcome their problems. Being a part of a group where everyone is working toward the same goal can also help propel you in the right direction.
It starts with you. Let us help you help yourself.
